This program explores systems thinking, helps you see connections and design effective solutions for real-world challenges.

Facilitator

Mihir Mathur: An Entrepreneur, Researcher, and Educator specializing in sustainability and climate change. His interdisciplinary work spans Systems Thinking, System Dynamics Modeling, and areas like Climate Change Adaptation, Natural Resource Management, and Ecological Economics. With a background in finance, he has made significant contributions to research, teaching, and capacity building.

Key objectives:

  • Introduce Systems Thinking: Familiarize participants with the concept of systems thinking and its relevance to organizational and societal issues.
  • Understand the core principles of systems thinking: Explore concepts like interconnectedness, feedback loops, causality, and dynamic complexity.
  • Develop Problem-Solving Skills: Enhance the ability to approach complex problems holistically and identify interconnections within systems.
  • Foster Collaborative Learning: Encourage sharing of experiences and insights among participants to build a collective understanding of systems thinking applications.
  • Improve Decision-Making: Equip managers with tools and frameworks to make informed decisions that consider broader system dynamics.
