Session Objective
A hands-on session in Stakeholder management, addressing the following objectives:
- Articulate goals for the organization or project and identify key internal and external stakeholders.
- Determine the role of each stakeholder and explore methods for understanding and aligning stakeholders' interests and expectations.
- Learn strategies for engaging stakeholders effectively, including communication techniques and relationship-building approaches.
- Develop action plans for implementing stakeholder management practices.
- Gain confidence to navigate stakeholder relationships and achieve overall goals.
Session Outcome
- Draw a stakeholder map for a specific organization or project goal.
- Explore how different stakeholders relate to the goal - enumerate their interests and expectations.
- Map each stakeholder in the Influence vs Interest quadrant.
- Chalk out strategies and actions to work with key stakeholders (one or two) especially in the High interest and High/Low Influence quadrant.
Facilitated by Arjav Chakravarti, Founder, Svarya
Arjav works with leadership teams in 1:1 and group settings. His work has included coaching leaders on managing through times of change, building a strong team culture, discovering purpose, and integrating personal and work life. Arjav also designs and facilitates learning sessions in both online and offline formats, and is a practitioner of the Lumina Spark psychometric assessment. Arjav founded Svarya in 2016 prior to which he worked at Dasra, MathWorks and The Ohio State University. He is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation as well as a practitioner in the Lumina Spark assessment tool. Arjav holds an M.B.A. (PGPX) from the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University.
